Hyperparathyroidism with hypercalciuria and urolithiasis: Long-term effects of parathyroid surgery and postoperative thiazide therapy

Eleven hypercalciuric patients (10 women and 1 man) with hyperparathyroidism and recurrent renal stones are described. In 6 patients normal calcium metabolism was restored after the removal of a single adenoma. No new stones were passed during the follow-up period of 5 years.
