Elective therapeutic approaches are required since recurrent thrombosis remains a major challenge in the management of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) despite an efficient anticoagulation. Several data suggest that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) could play a role in the prevention of thrombosis.
