The dynamics of water transport in proteoglycan compartments has been studied in relation to osmotic flow (proteoglycan diffusion) and hydraulic permeability (proteoglycan sedimentation) in concentrated solutions of proteoglycan subunit and native proteoglycan aggregate isolated from Swarm rat chondrosarcoma.
