We discuss the complete theory of spin-1/2 electron-positron quantum plasmas, when electrons and positrons move with velocities mach smaller than the speed of light. We derive a set of two fluid quantum hydrodynamic equations consisting of the continuity, Euler, spin (magnetic moment) evolution equations for each species. We explicitly include the Coulomb, spin-spin, Darwin and annihilation interactions. The annihilation interaction is the main topic of the paper. We consider the contribution…

A transverse separate-spin-evolution streaming instability and new wave solutions in electron–positron–ion plasmas

This paper presents the analysis of dispersion equation for transverse waves in magnetized electron–positron–ion plasma in which electrons and positrons are counter streaming parallel to the magnetic

Spin-electron-acoustic waves and solitons in high-density degenerate relativistic plasmas

Spin-electron-acoustic waves (sometimes called spin-plasmons) can be found in degenerate electron gases if spin-up electrons and spin-down electrons move relatively each other. Here, we suggest

On the equation of state for the “thermal” part of the spin current: The Pauli principle contribution in the spin wave spectrum in a cold fermion system

Spin evolution opened a large field in quantum plasma research. The spin waves in plasmas were considered among new phenomena considered in spin-1/2 quantum plasmas. The spin density evolution

Quantum kinetic theories in degenerate plasmas

In this review we give an overview of the recent work on quantum kinetic theories of plasmas. We focus, in particular, on the case where the electrons are fully degenerate. For such systems,

Radiative corrections to the Coulomb law and model of dense quantum plasmas: Dispersion of longitudinal waves in magnetized quantum plasmas

Two kinds of quantum electrodynamic radiative corrections to electromagnetic interactions and their influence on the properties of highly dense quantum plasmas are considered. Linear radiative

Dielectric permeability tensor and linear waves in spin-1/2 quantum kinetics with non-trivial equilibrium spin-distribution functions

A consideration of waves propagating parallel to the external magnetic field is presented. The dielectric permeability tensor is derived from the quantum kinetic equations with non-trivial

Spin-electron acoustic waves: The Landau damping and ion contribution in the spectrum

Separated spin-up and spin-down quantum kinetics is derived for more detailed research of the spin-electron acoustic waves (SEAWs). This kinetic theory allows us to obtain the spectrum of the SEAWs

Extraordinary spin-electron acoustic wave

The extraordinary waves in spin-1/2 quantum plasma are studied. The evolutions of spin-up and spin-down electrons are considered separately. Hence, the separate spin evolution quantum hydrodynamics

Analytical properties of linear electrostatic waves in two-component quantum and classical plasmas

We examine the properties of linear electrostatic waves in unmagnetised quantum and classical plasmas consisting of one or two populations of electrons with analytically tractable distribution

Separated spin evolution quantum hydrodynamics of degenerate electrons with spin–orbit interaction and extraordinary wave spectrum

To consider the contribution of the spin–orbit interaction in the extraordinary wave spectrum we derive a generalization of the separate spin evolution quantum hydrodynamics. Applying the
