A cementless femoral component may allow for a smaller surgical incision when a minimally invasive approach is used during primary total knee arthroplasty. Fixation by cement is the gold standard for total knee arthroplasty. The results of cementless total knee arthroplasty are mixed. Cementless femoral components have done well. Although some tibial components have performed well at long-term follow-up, others have been plagued by high rates of loosening and revision. The question remains…

KNEE ARTHROPLASTY REVISION WITH A CONSTRAINED IMPLANT USING HINGE AND ROTATING TIBIAL BASIS
TLDR
Despite the complications rate observed, the functional result were acceptable for most patients, and the constrained implant hinge proved being a viable alternative, especially for patients with low functional demand.
Fracture of the Tibial Baseplate 16 Years after Miller-Galante II Total Knee Arthroplasty
TLDR
A 76-year-old woman, who had undergone bilateral MG II total knee arthroplasty due to rheumatoid arthritis 16 years earlier, presented to the department with a 3-month history of left knee pain with a rare case of tibial baseplate fracture of Miller-Galante II (MG II) prosthesis.
The effect of surgeon’s preference for hybrid or cemented fixation on the long-term survivorship of total knee replacement
TLDR
An instrumental variable analysis examining the revision rate of 2 cohorts of patients based on their surgeon’s preference for cemented or hybrid fixation found the risk of revision is the same as for the patients of surgeons who prefer hybrid fixation, except when used with XLPE, where hybrid fixation has a lower revision risk.

Better clinical outcomes and overall higher survival with hybrid versus cemented primary total knee arthroplasty: a minimum 15 years follow-up
TLDR
After a minimum follow-up of 15 years, hybrid fixation of primary TKA for osteoarthritis provide significantly higher clinical benefits compared with cemented fixation, but the differences were not clinically relevant.

Ten- to 14-Year Clinical Followup of the Cementless Natural Knee System
TLDR
Of 300 consecutive knees that had undergone arthroplasty with the cementless Natural Knee prosthesis from 1985 to 1989, 176 knees were available for followup at an average of 12 ± 1 years after the operation, and knee function was improved significantly.
Cemented rotating-platform total knee replacement. a concise follow-up, at a minimum of fifteen years, of a previous report.
TLDR
The cemented LCS rotating-platform knee performed well, with durable clinical and radiographic results at a minimum follow-up of fifteen years, compared with 119 consecutive total knee arthroplasties previously evaluated.
Hybrid total hip replacement. A 6.5-year follow-up study.
TLDR
Long-term femoral fixation has been shown to improve with second-generation cementing techniques and in this series was excellent with third-generation techniques, in that only one stem was revised for loosening.
Cemented rotating-platform total knee replacement: a concise follow-up, at a minimum of twenty years, of a previous report.
TLDR
It is concluded that the cemented LCS rotating-platform knee performed well, with durable clinical and radiographic results at a minimum follow-up of twenty years, however, the prevalence of osteolysis continues to increase with a longer duration of follow- up in these patients.
Cement Versus Cementless Fixation In Total Knee Arthroplasty
TLDR
A significantly higher revision rate was found in the uncemented compared with cemented total knee arthroplasty of the Press Fit Condylar design and survival to revision for aseptic failure or radiographic loosening was significantly higher.

TLDR
The Total Condylar Knee replacement maintains excellent durability at 20-years followup.

TLDR
No cementless rotating-bearing patella loosened, fractured, or dissociated in patients without prior knee surgery although one cementless rotate-bearingpatella in a patient who had multiple knee surgeries wore through the inferior marker wire after 10.8 years, causing metallosis that required revision.

TLDR
The success of the AGC implant is attributed to its relatively unconstrained articular geometry and the durability of a non-modular metal-backed tibial component with compression moulded polyethylene.
Long-Term Followup of Anatomic Graduated Components Posterior Cruciate-Retaining Total Knee Replacement
TLDR
Despite having nearly flat-on-flat geometry and retaining the posterior cruciate ligament, this total knee replacement has proved to have minimal wear and excellent longevity with time, the authors think this is a result of the direct compression molded polyethylene articulation and the nonmodular configuration that incorporates metal backing on the tibial component and eliminates back-sided tibIAL component poly methylene wear.
