Clear cell carcinoma of the salivary glands is a rare tumor that represents less than one per cent of all salivary tumors. They can divided into a biphasic, epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma or a monophasic pattern which may be myoepithelial or ductal in origin. Hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma (HCCC) of the salivary gland is a new disease that is only recognized in recent years. It is rare and the standard treatment is still under investigation.
