The hunting dogs have increased in Sweden during the last thirty years, in total number of dogs and in number of hunting dog breeds. There has been a shift in the breed composition, new hunting methods and new game species that have resulted in more hunting opportunities which have brought new breeds of hunting dogs to Sweden. By studying forty-eight breeds of hunting dogs and seven game species in Sweden the results show significant relationships between the hunting dog breeds and the game… Expand
