Severe combined immune deficient (SCID) mice were engrafted with human peripheral blood lymphocytes (Hu-PBLs) after treatment with anti-asialo GM-1 antiserum and radiation. This pretreatment facilitates high level of Hu-PBL engraftment in the SCID mice spleen.
