The amino acid sequences of the amino-terminal of the two different polypeptide chains of the human decidua-associated protein hDP200, with apparent molecular masses of 55 and 25 kDa, were determined. The amino-terminal sequence of the 55 kDa chain revealed that it is an immunoglobulin heavy chain, of the VH-III subgroup and the amino-terminal sequence of the 25 kDa chain showed that it is a human kappa V-III light chain. The sequence data indicate that hDP200 is an immunoglobulin. The ability… Expand

Immunoaffinity purification and quantitation of a rat protein similar to the human decidua-associated protein (hDP) 71
TLDR
The results demonstrate the oestrogen-dependent accumulation of rDP 71 in uterine lumen, and support the use of a rat as an experimental animal model to investigate the possible physiological role of this protein in the reproductive process. Expand
Human Decidua‐Associated Protein (hDP) 200 Identified as a Monoclonal Rheumatoid Factor Is Not an Acute Phase Reactant
TLDR
This study examines if this protein, being an immunoglobulin, participates in the inflammatory processes involving the uterus as well as identifying its role as a monoclonal rheumatoid factor. Expand
The Level of Human Decidua‐Associated Protein (hDP) 200, Identified as a Monoclonal Rheumatoid Factor in the Fallopian Tube
TLDR
Whether ectopic pregnancy is associated with increased levels of human decidua‐associated protein (hDP) 200, identified as a monoclonal rheumatoid factor, in the related fallopian tube as compared with normal tubes is examined. Expand
Investigation of immunoregulatory factors from human decidua.
TLDR
The preliminary results suggest that non-leukocytic decidua cells are unlikely to be responsible for the activity, as the suppressive activity was largely increased in populations enriched for these cells, and concanavalin A enhanced their suppression activity. Expand
Intrauterine Levels of Human Decidua-Associated Protein (hDP) 200 in Normal Pregnancy and Missed Abortion
TLDR
HDP 200, being a monoclonal rheumatoid factor, is probably not required for the continuation of normal pregnancy, and no significant difference was observed comparing the level of hDP 200 and the pattern of its decrease in missed and induced abortions. Expand
Human Decidua‐associated Protein 200 Neutralizes the Detrimental Effect of Serum Containing Antiphospholipid Antibodies on Fetal Survival in the Rat
TLDR
Whether the detrimental effect of serum containing antiphospholipid antibodies on rat pregnancy outcome can be neutralized by addition of human decidua‐associated protein (hDP) 200, a kind of rheumatoid factor, extracted from decidual tissue is examined. Expand
Placental Levels of Human Decidua- Associated Protein 200 in Normal Pregnancy and Missed Abortion
TLDR
The results show that the level of hDP200 in placental tissue, measured by double-site ELISA, is probably incompatible with the normal continuation of pregnancy. Expand
Measurement of Intrauterine Human Decidua-Associated Protein 200 and Diagnosis of Ectopic Pregnancy
TLDR
Intrauterine hDP 200 is not sufficiently discriminative to be of clinical value in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, and a trend towards lower levels of uterine fluid hDP200 was noted in the group of patients presenting with tubal pregnancy. Expand
Sequential Measurements of Human Decidua‐Associated Protein (hDP) 200 in the Uterine Fluid During the Menstrual Cycle
PROBLEM: To examine the relationship between the concentration of uterine fluid human decidua‐associated protein (hDP) 200, identified as a monoclonal rheumatoid factor, and different phases of theExpand
Effect of intrauterine injection of casein on fetal survival in rat: a new pharmacological approach for contraception.
TLDR
The data suggest a new pharmacological approach for contraception, based on local intrauterine effect of alpha-casein in an experimental rat model, and the exact mechanism of action related to casein should be further studied. Expand

Identification, immunoaffinity purification and initial characterization of a novel 71 kD human decidua associated protein by use of specific monoclonal antibodies.
TLDR
Evidence is presented showing that the monoclonal antibodies described above are specific for hDP71, a novel decidual-associated glycoprotein with an apparent molecular weight of 71 kD that has been identified and purified by immunoaffinity technique using monoclotal antibodies. Expand
Amino acid sequence of a light chain variable region of a human rheumatoid factor of the Wa idiotypic group, in part predicted by its reactivity with antipeptide antibodies.
TLDR
This study illustrates that antipeptide antisers are valuable and specific probes for determining the relationship between molecules which exhibit similar antigen binding or idiotypic specificities and, furthermore, such antisera are able to predict amino acid sequences with surprising precision. Identification, immunoaffinity purification and partial characterization of a human decidua-associated protein.
TLDR
The data suggest that hDP200 is a novel human decidua-associated protein that did not react with polyclonal antibodies specific for PP12 and PP14 and is suggested to be a subunit of the hDP55. Expand
Soluble antigens of IgG receptor Fc gamma RIII in human seminal plasma.
TLDR
It is shown that the Fc binding of SP is associated with a molecule that antigenically resembles Fc gamma RIII, and this molecule manifests specific affinity for solid phase-coupled IgG-Fc, and appears not to be cell membrane-associated. Expand
