Irwin Shaw(1900-1900) is considered one of the most prominent and international WW11 novelists. Like his contemporaries, he depicts in his novel The Young Lions (1958) the atrocities of the WW11. Nonetheless, he is considered more superior than them because he presents his optimistic view of the world.
