A data-driven situation-aware framework for predictive analysis in smart environments

To effectively analyze the sensor data, the Situ-Morphism method is employed to transfer sensor-enabled situation information to vector information and new similarity metrics are introduced and similarity prediction based on Locality Sensitive Hashing is implemented to improve data processing efficiency and effectively handle the data semantics.

Design of Anomaly-Based Intrusion Detection System Using Fog Computing for IoT Network

This paper has proposed a anomaly-based intrusion detection system by decentralizing the existing cloud based security architecture to local fog nodes and various machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbor and Decision Tree are used.

V-Sandbox for Dynamic Analysis IoT Botnet

A new practical sandbox, named V-Sandbox, is presented, which is an ideal environment for IoT Botnet samples that exhibit all of their malicious behavior and supports the C&C servers connection, shared libraries for dynamic files, and a wide range of CPU architectures.

Preparatory Reflections on Safe Context-adaptive Software (Position Paper)

This work examines the promising context-aware computing and model-driven development paradigms that have directed the development of fog computing and IoT platforms alike and aggregate viable requirements for computational context models to be employed both for computation and also reasoning about the correctness of applications.

Reconfigurable Antenna Systems:Platform implementation and low-power matters

This thesis work has dealt with hardware implementation issues of Radio Frequency (RF) antenna reconfigurability, and in particular with low-power General Purpose Platforms (GPP); the work has encompassed Software Defined Radio (SDR) implementation, as well as embedded low- power platforms (in particular on STM32 Nucleo family of micro-controller).

Deep Learning-Based Content Centric Data Dissemination Scheme for Internet of Vehicles

A deep learning- based content centric data dissemination approach for IoV is presented by taking into account the mobility of vehicles and type of content shared among vehicles and proves the efficacy of the proposed scheme with respect to performance metrics such as-content disseminated, energy, and social score.

  • 2017
In this paper, a novel ST-correlated proximate missing data imputation model is proposed and Experimental results have proved that the proposed method has outperformed the existing single imputation and multiple imputation statistical methods in terms of accuracy.

Smart emergency response system

A WiFi enabled micro-controller is interfaced with few sensors like ADXL335, a 3-axis accelerometer for sensing tilt of the object, motion, vibration or shock, Pulse Sensor to give live heart data rate, DHT11 Sensor to sense ambient temperature and humidity in this work.
