PURPOSE OF REVIEW Intradialytic hypotension (IDH) produces uncomfortable symptoms for the patient and reduces the efficiency of dialysis. RECENT FINDINGS IDH may be an important cause of vascular access thrombosis. Automatic biofeedback-controlled dialysis changes dialysate conductivity and ultrafiltration during dialysis.
