Abstract. In response to the ongoing shortage of cadaveric livers, living-related liver transplantation is being performed with increasing frequency. The preoperative imaging work-up must document important vascular and parenchymal variants that may alter the anticipated surgical procedure, or even preclude a healthy donor from undergoing surgery.
