Two designs of electrically-short carbon-nanotube-based antennas are presented. They rely on the two main types of long aligned carbon nanotubes fabricated with state-of-the-art technology - horizontal and vertical arrays produced by chemical vapor deposition. Their performance is assessed by full-wave simulation using HFSS EM software. First, the modeling technique is presented.
