Abstract Holography inspired stringy hadrons (HISH) is a set of models that describe hadrons: mesons, baryons and glueballs as strings in flat four dimensional space–time. The models are based on a “map” from stringy hadrons of holographic confining backgrounds. In this note we review the “derivation” of the models. We start with a brief reminder of the passage from the A d S 5 × S 5 string theory to certain flavored confining holographic models. We then describe the string configurations in… CONTINUE READING
