Using seven-dimensional Sasaki-Einstein spaces we construct solutions of D=11 supergravity that are holographically dual to superconductors in three spacetime dimensions. Our numerical results indicate a new zero temperature solution dual to a quantum critical point.

Quantum criticality and holographic superconductors in M-theory

We present a consistent Kaluza-Klein truncation of D = 11 supergravity on an arbitrary seven-dimensional Sasaki-Einstein space (SE7) to a D = 4 theory containing a metric, a gauge-field, a complex

Fermionic spectrum from a domain wall in five dimensions

We study fermions in a domain wall backgrounds in five dimensional supergravity, which is similar to zero temperature limit of holographic superconductor. We find the fermionic operators for small

IIB Superfluid flows

We construct holographic superfluid flow solutions in a five‐dimensional theory that arises as a consistent truncation of low energy type IIB string theory. We then study the phase diagram of these

Holographic helical superconductors

A bstractWe show that D = 5 electrically charged AdS black branes can have instabilities associated with spatially modulated p-wave superconductors with helical structure. We show that the

General Holographic Superconductor Models in AdS BTZ Black Hole

We study a general holographic superconductor model in the background of AdS BTZ back hole. We explore the properties of the scalar condensation in the phase transitions and find that this model

General Holographic Superconductor Models in AdS BTZ Black Hole

We study a general holographic superconductor model in the background of AdS BTZ back hole. We explore the properties of the scalar condensation in the phase transitions and find that this model

Holographic superconductors and higher curvature corrections

We study a fully backreacted holographic model of a four-dimensional superconductor by including a higher curvature interaction in the bulk action. We study how the critical temperature and the field

Normalizable fermion modes in a holographic superconductor

We consider fermions in a zero-temperature superconducting anti-de Sitter domain wall solution and find continuous bands of normal modes. These bands can be either partially filled or totally empty

A holographic superconductor model with higher correction terms

We study general models for holographic superconductors with higher correction terms of the scalar field in the four-dimensional AdS black hole background including the matter fields' backreaction on

One may also consider fixing σ2 = 0 [3] with similar results. Non-zero σ1 is less interesting as we want the scalar to condense without being sourced

There are analogous AdS5 solutions of the theory considered in [7] which uplift to IIB solutions found in
