We use light-front Holography to estimate the valence quark and the meson cloud contributions to the nucleon axial form factor. The free couplings of the holographic model are determined by the empirical data and by the information extracted from lattice QCD. The holographic model provides a good description of the empirical data when we consider a meson cloud mixture of about 30\% in the physical nucleon state. The estimate of the valence quark contribution to the nucleon axial form factor…

Pion constituent quark couplings strong form factors: A dynamical approach
Form factors for pions interactions with constituent quarks are investigated as the leading effective couplings obtained from a one loop background field method applied to a global color model. Two
Form factors for pions couplings to constituent quarks under weak magnetic field
By considering a one loop background field method for a nonperturbative one gluon exchange between quarks, leading electromagnetic form factors of pion couplings to constituent quarks are derived by
Nucleon axial form factor from generalized parton distributions
It is well established that the nucleon form factors can be related to Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs) through sum-rules. On the other hand, GPDs can be expressed in terms of Parton

Meson cloud contributions to baryon axial form factors
The axial form factor as well as the axial charge of octet baryons are studied in the perturbative chiral quark model (PCQM) with the quark wave functions predetermined by fitting the theoretical
Octet Baryon Electromagnetic Form Factors in a Relativistic Quark Model
We study the octet baryon electromagnetic properties by applying the covariant spectator quark model, and provide covariant parametrization that can be used to study baryon electromagnetic reactions.
Axial form factors of the octet baryons in a covariant quark model
wave functions are composed of a dominant S-state and a P-state mixture for the relative angular momentum of the quarks. First, we study in detail the nucleon case. We assume that the quark
Baryon properties from light-front holographic QCD
We investigate the properties of octet and decuplet baryons in a light-front holographic model. By taking into account the effect of nonvanishing quark mass, we obtain the modified light-front wave
Excited baryons in holographic QCD
The light-front holographic QCD approach is used to describe baryon spectroscopy and the systematics of nucleon transition form factors. Baryon spectroscopy and the excitation dynamics of nucleon
Nucleon form factors and hidden symmetry in holographic QCD
The vector dominance of the electromagnetic form factors both for mesons and baryons arises naturally in holographic QCD, where both the number of colors and the 't Hooft coupling are taken to be
Analysis of nucleon electromagnetic form factors from light-front holographic QCD : The spacelike region
We present a comprehensive analysis of the spacelike nucleon electromagnetic form factors and their flavor decomposition within the framework of light-front holographic QCD. We show that the
Valence quark contribution for the gamma N -> Delta quadrupole transition extracted from lattice QCD
Starting with a spectator quark model developed for the nucleon (N) and the Delta in the physical pion mass region, we extend the predictions of the reaction gamma N -> Delta to the lattice QCD
Nucleon axial and pseudoscalar form factors from the covariant Faddeev equation
We compute the axial and pseudoscalar form factors of the nucleon in the Dyson-Schwinger approach. To this end, we solve a covariant three-body Faddeev equation for the nucleon wave function and
Octet baryon electromagnetic form factors in nuclear medium
We study the octet baryon electromagnetic form factors in nuclear matter using the covariant spectator quark model extended to the nuclear matter regime. The parameters of the model in vacuum are
