In this paper, we study properties of baryons by using a holographic dual of QCD on the basis of the D4/D8-brane configuration, where baryons are described by a soliton. We first determine the asymptotic behavior of the soliton solution, which allows us to evaluate well-defined currents associated with the U(N_f)_L \times U(N_f)_R chiral symmetry. Using the currents, we compute static quantities of baryons such as charge radii and magnetic moments, and make a quantitative test with experiments…

In generic holographic QCD, we find that baryons are bound to form a nucleus, and that its radius obeys the empirically-known mass number (A) dependence r A^{1/3} for large A. Our result is robust,
Baryon Transition in Holographic QCD
We propose a mechanism of holographic baryon transition in the Sakai-Sugimoto (SS) model: baryons in this model can jump to different states under the mediated effect of gravitons (or glueballs by
Di-Baryon from Instanton in Holographic QCD
We study the di-baryon in the holographic QCD. The di-baryon is composed of six quarks and bound by the color interaction. In this paper, we adopt the Sakai-Sugimoto (SS) model as the holographic QCD

We generalize the description of baryons as instantons of Sakai-Sugimoto model to the case where the flavor branes are non-anti-podal. The later corresponds to quarks with a string endpoint mass''.
Baryons under strong magnetic fields or in theories with space-dependent θ -term
Baryonic states are sufficiently complex to reveal physics that is hidden in the mesonic bound states. Using gauge/gravity correspondence we study analytically and numerically baryons in theories
