Thermoregulation in spinal man

The experimental studies reported in this paper were made on human male patients, who, with one exception, had complete lesions due to injuries at various levels in the spinal cord, in order to study further the nature of the thermoregulatory processes in spinal man.

Protein and carbohydrate supplementation during 5-day aerobic training enhanced plasma volume expansion and thermoregulatory adaptation in young men.

Protein-CHO supplementation during 5-day training enhanced PV expansion and thermoregulatory adaptation and, thereby, the reduction in heat and cardiovascular strain in young men.
