Eight specimens each of the following groups were investigated: gingival pyogenic granuloma, fibrous epulis, calcifying fibrous epulis, peripheral giant cell granuloma, giant cell fibroma (four gingival, four non-gingival), denture-irritation hyperplasia and fibroepithelial polyp.
