[1] This paper deals with the evolution of sedimentary basins not delimited by normal faults, with a substratum characterized by an upward concave shape and with infilling sediments synclinally deformed. We describe the middle-late Miocene Radicondoli Basin, representing an example of such bowl-shaped basins.
