Abstract

A quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) spray-coated with a Ni(SCN)(2)(4-picoline)(4) film is a sensitive detector for small aromatic (benzene, toluene) and chlorinated (trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene) vapors with a planar molecular geometry.
