  • We present experimental evidence for polygonal domain faceting in the ferroelectric polymer poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) (PVDF-TrFE) films with the lower orthorhombic crystallographic symmetry. It is proposed that this effect can arise from purely electrostatic depolarizing forces.
