Low-Cost FIR Filter Designs Based on Faithfully Rounded Truncated Multiple Constant Multiplication/Accumulation
In this present day world speed and compact systems plays a major role in field of engineering mainly in the field of digital systems. Due to the advancements in human living there is a large requirement for the compact systems with higher speeds. In this paper we proposed a method by which we can reduce the complexity of hardware in turn increasing the speed of operation. In this proposal we mainly used the concept of zero elimination and one detection (ZEOD) and then we will do truncation, reduction and deletion for an approximate value. The results has shown that it is reducing about 2% of real time hardware and increasing the speed up to 85% on average. The result after truncation has accuracy of about 99% of the existing real time hardware.
