Suppressing naturalness concerns, we discuss the compatibility requirements of high-scale supersymmetry breaking with the Higgs boson mass constraint and gauge coupling unification. We find that to accommodate superpartner masses significantly greater than the electroweak scale, one must introduce large non-degeneracy factors. These factors are enumerated, and implications for the allowed forms of supersymmetry breaking are discussed. We find that superpartner masses of arbitrarily high values…

Precision unification and Higgsino dark matter in GUT scale supersymmetry

Even if the concerns related to the naturalness of the electroweak scale are repressed, the Higgs mass and stability of the electroweak vacuum do not allow arbitrarily large supersymmetry breaking

New weak-scale physics from SO(10) with high-scale supersymmetry

Gauge coupling unification and the stability of the Higgs vacuum are among two of the cherished features of low-energy supersymmetric models. Putting aside questions of naturalness, supersymmetry

Proton decay testing low energy supersymmetry with precision gauge unification

We show that gauge coupling unification in supersymmetry (SUSY) models can make a nontrivial interconnection between collider and proton decay experiments. Under the assumption of precise gauge

Inflation and high-scale supersymmetry with an EeV gravitino

We consider inflation and supersymmetry breaking in the context of a minimal model of supersymmetry in which the only “low” energy remnant of supersymmetry is the gravitino with a mass of order an

Pseudo-Dirac Higgsino dark matter in GUT scale supersymmetry

We investigate a scenario in which supersymmetry is broken at a scale MS ≥ 1014 GeV leaving only a pair of Higgs doublets, their superpartners (Higgsinos) and a gauge singlet fermion (singlino)

Pseudo-Dirac Higgsino dark matter in GUT scale supersymmetry

A bstractWe investigate a scenario in which supersymmetry is broken at a scale MS ≥ 1014 GeV leaving only a pair of Higgs doublets, their superpartners (Higgsinos) and a gauge singlet fermion

Can measurements of 2HDM parameters provide hints for high scale supersymmetry

Two-Higgs-doublet models (2HDMs) are minimal extensions of the Standard Model (SM) that may still be discovered at the LHC. The quartic couplings of their potentials can be determined from the

Inflation from high-scale supersymmetry breaking

Supersymmetry breaking close to the scale of grand unification can explain cosmic inflation. As we demonstrate in this paper, this can be achieved in strongly coupled supersymmetric gauge theories,

Effective field theory approach to trans-TeV supersymmetry: covariant matching, Yukawa unification and Higgs couplings

Dismissing traditional naturalness concerns while embracing the Higgs boson mass measurement and unification motivates careful analysis of trans-TeV supersymmetric theories. We take an effective
