We present a new lattice QCD analysis of heavy-quark pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar correlators, using gluon configurations from the MILC Collaboration that include vacuum polarization from u , d , s , and c quarks ( n f = 4 ). We extract new values for the QCD coupling and for the c quark’s MS ¯ mass: α MS ¯ ( M Z , n f = 5 ) = 0.11822 ( 74 ) and m c ( 3 GeV , n f = 4 ) = 0.9851 ( 63 ) GeV . These agree well with our earlier simulations using n f = 3 sea quarks, vindicating the perturbative…

Mass of the b quark and B -meson decay constants from Nf=2+1+1 twisted-mass lattice QCD

We present precise lattice computations for the b-quark mass, the quark mass ratios m(b)/m(c) and m(b)/m(s) as well as the leptonic B-decay constants. We employ gauge configurations with four

The light quark masses are determined from a QCD finite energy sum rule, using the pseudoscalar correlator to six-loop order in perturbative QCD, with the leading vacuum condensates and higher order

Charmonium properties from lattice QCD+QED : Hyperfine splitting, J/ψ leptonic width, charm quark mass, and aμc

We have performed the first n f = 2 + 1 + 1 lattice QCD computations of the properties (masses and decay constants) of ground-state charmonium mesons. Our calculation uses the HISQ action

We present a determination of the strong coupling constant and heavy quark masses in 2+1-flavor QCD using lattice calculations of the moments of the pseudo-scalar quarkonium correlators at several

Up-, down-, strange-, charm-, and bottom-quark masses from four-flavor lattice QCD

We calculate the up-, down-, strange-, charm-, and bottom-quark masses using the MILC highly improved staggered-quark ensembles with four flavors of dynamical quarks. We use ensembles at six lattice

B- and D-meson leptonic decay constants from four-flavor lattice QCD

We calculate the leptonic decay constants of heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons with charm and bottom quarks in lattice quantum chromodynamics on four-flavor QCD gauge-field configurations with

Determination of the charm quark mass in lattice QCD with 2 + 1 flavours on fine lattices

We present a determination of the charm quark mass in lattice QCD with three active quark flavours. The calculation is based on PCAC masses extracted from N f = 2 + 1 flavour gauge field ensembles at

We present details of a lattice QCD calculation of the Bs → D∗ s axial form factor at zero recoil using the Highly Improved Staggered Quark (HISQ) formalism on the second generation MILC gluon

Lattice QCD form factor for Bs→Ds*lν at zero recoil with nonperturbative current renormalization
