High-incidence of allelic loss at the rb gene locus in advanced human ovarian-cancer.

Abstract

We examined 26 ovarian cancers for allelic losses at the loci of five tumor suppressor genes, p53, DCC, RB, APC and WT1. The loss of the p53 gene was most common among these five loci (13/20, 65%).
