During inflation, the geometry of spacetime is described by a (quasi‐)de Sitter phase. Inflationary observables are determined by the underlying (softly broken) de Sitter isometry group SO(1,4) which acts like a conformal group on R3 : when the fluctuations are on super‐Hubble scales, the correlators of the scalar fields are constrained by conformal invariance. Heavy fields with mass m larger than the Hubble rate H correspond to operators with imaginary dimensions in the dual Euclidean three…

Symmetry constraints in inflation, α-vacua, and the three point function

A bstractThe Ward identities for conformal symmetries in single field models of inflation are studied in more detail in momentum space. For a class of generalized single field models, where the

Cosmology as a CFT1

Abstract We show that the simplest FLRW cosmological system consisting in the homo- geneous and isotropic massless Einstein-Scalar system enjoys a hidden conformal symmetry under the 1D conformal

Non-Gaussianity from $X, Y$ gauge bosons in Cosmological Collider Physics

Heavy fields of Hubble scale order present during inflation contribute to the nonGaussian signature for the three-point function of the inflaton. Taking into account that Hubble scale is around the

Massive fields as systematics for single field inflation

During inflation, massive fields can contribute to the power spectrum of curvature perturbation via a dimension-5 operator. This contribution can be considered as a bias for the program of using ns

The goldstone and goldstino of supersymmetric inflation Citation

We construct the minimal effective field theory (EFT) of supersymmetric inflation, whose field content is a real scalar, the goldstone for time-translation breaking, and a Weyl fermion, the goldstino

The goldstone and goldstino of supersymmetric inflation

A bstractWe construct the minimal effective field theory (EFT) of supersymmetric inflation, whose field content is a real scalar, the goldstone for time-translation breaking, and a Weyl fermion, the

Imprints of massive primordial fields on large-scale structure

Attention has focussed recently on models of inflation that involve a second or more fields with a mass near the inflationary Hubble parameter H, as may occur in supersymmetric theories if the

Constraining graviton non-Gaussianity through the CMB bispectra

Tensor non-Gaussianities are a key ingredient to test the symmetries and the presence of higher spin fields during the inflationary epoch. Indeed, the shape of the three point correlator of the

A Mellin space approach to cosmological correlators

We propose a Mellin space approach to the evaluation of late-time momentum-space correlation functions of quantum fields in ( d + 1)-dimensional de Sitter space. The Mellin-Barnes representation

Heavy particle signatures in cosmological correlation functions with tensor modes

We explore the possibility to make use of cosmological data to look for signatures of unknown heavy particles whose masses are on the order of the Hubble parameter during the time of inflation. To be

Conformal invariance, dark energy, and CMB non-gaussianity

In addition to simple scale invariance, a universe dominated by dark energy naturally gives rise to correlation functions possessing full conformal invariance. This is due to the mathematical

Conformal invariance and the four point scalar correlator in slow-roll inflation

A bstractWe calculate the four point correlation function for scalar perturbations in the canonical model of slow-roll inflation. We work in the leading slow-roll approximation where the calculation

On graviton non-gaussianities during inflation

We consider the most general three point function for gravitational waves produced during a period of exactly de Sitter expansion. The de Sitter isometries constrain the possible shapes to only

Holography for inflation using conformal perturbation theory

A bstractWe provide a precise and quantitative holographic description of a class of inflationary slow-roll models. The dual QFT is a deformation of a three-dimensional CFT by a nearly marginal

Conformal invariance of scalar perturbations in inflation

In inflationary models where the source of scalar perturbations is not the inflaton, but one or more scalars with negligible coupling with the inflaton, the resulting perturbations are not only scale

The dS/CFT correspondence

A holographic duality is proposed relating quantum gravity on dSD (D-dimensional de Sitter space) to conformal field theory on a single SD−1 ((D-1)-sphere), in which bulk de Sitter correlators with
