BACKGROUND Preradiation chemotherapy including methotrexate (MTX) was effective in children with completely resected high-grade gliomas (HGG). The specific role of MTX remains uncertain. PATIENTS AND METHODS Children with newly diagnosed HGG and diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG) were enrolled.
