A theoretical model involving phonon and lochon (local charged boson) mediated pairing of electrons in Pd(H/D) x is suggested to explain the possible observation of superconductivity in the range 51K≤T c ≤295K (when x exceeds unity). In the combined mechanism the lochons have transient existence on (H + /D + ) resulting in (H - /D - ) species. The coupling parameter λ 1 for lochon induced processes depend linearly on x. The model explains the observation of the enhancement of T c for x varying…
Coupled Calorimetry and Resistivity Measurements , in Conjunction with an Emended and More Complete Phase Diagram of the Palladium-Isotopic Hydrogen System
Results of a calorimetric study established the energy produced, over and above input energy, from electrolytic loading of deuterium into Pd was 150 MJ/cc of Pd (14000 eV/Pd atom) for a 46 day
Estimating volume fractions of superabundant vacancy phases and their potential roles in low energy nuclear reactions and high conductivity in the palladium – isotopic hydrogen system
The addition of three superabundant vacancy (SAV) phases, γ (Pd7VacD6–8), δ (Pd3VacD4 – octahedral), and δ′ (Pd3VacD4 – tetrahedral) to the palladium – isotopic hydrogen phase diagram was recently
