High-Power Single Mode InGaAs Sub-Monolayer Quantum-Dot Photonic-Crystal VCSELs

An InGaAs sub-monolayer (SML) quantum dot photonic crystal vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (QD PhC-VCSEL) for fiber-optic applications is first demonstrated.
