We present a calculation of higgsino and gaugino pair production at the LHC at next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy, matched to approximate next-to-next-to-leading order (aNNLO) QCD corrections. We briefly review the formalism for the resummation of large threshold logarithms and highlight the analytical results required at aNNLO+NNLO accuracy. Our numerical results are found to depend on the mass and nature of the produced charginos and neutralinos. The differential and total…

Precision predictions for exotic lepton production at the Large Hadron Collider

We calculate total and differential cross sections for the pair production, at the Large Hadron Collider, of exotic leptons that could emerge from models with vector-like leptons and in Type-III

Search for long-lived charginos based on a disappearing-track signature using 136 fb of pp collisions at = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

  • Physics

A search for long-lived charginos produced either directly or in the cascade decay of heavy prompt gluino states is presented. The search is based on proton– proton collision data collected at a

LHC constraints on electroweakino dark matter revisited

We revisit LHC searches for heavy invisible particles by exploiting QCD initial state radiation. We recast a dijet signal region in a general multijet plus MET search by ATLAS. We find that

Soft gluon resummation for associated squark-electroweakino production at the LHC

We perform a threshold resummation calculation for the associated production of squarks and electroweakinos at the LHC to the next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) accuracy. Analytical results for the

Slepton and Electroweakino pair production with aNNLO+NNLL precision

The level of experimental precision that will be achieved with LHC Run-III data and in the forthcoming High Luminosity stage calls for equally accurate theoretical predictions to compare with. Here

Resummation effects in weak SUSY processes

We present updated results for the production cross sections of slepton pairs and neutralino-chargino pairs at the LHC with next-to-next-to logarithmic precision matched at approximate QCD

Revisiting slepton pair production at the Large Hadron Collider

Motivated by the shift in experimental attention towards electroweak super-symmetric particle production at the CERN LHC, we update in this paper our precision predictions at next-to-leading order of

Searches for electroweak production of supersymmetric particles with compressed mass spectra in √s = 13 TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

This paper presents results of searches for the electroweak production of supersymmetric particles in models with compressed mass spectra. The searches use 139 fb(-1) of root s = 13 TeV proton-prot

Search for chargino-neutralino production with mass splittings near the electroweak scale in three-lepton final states in √s = 13 TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

A search for supersymmetry through the pair production of electroweakinos with mass splittings near the electroweak scale and decaying via on-shell W and Z bosons is presented for a three-lepton fi

Threshold factorization of the Drell-Yan process at next-to-leading power

A factorization theorem valid near the kinematic threshold of the partonic Drell-Yan process is presented and an issue for threshold resummation beyond the leading-logarithmic accuracy at next-to-leading power is demonstrated.
