Hierarchical structured TiO2 nano-tubes were prepared following a two-step method: the highly ordered uniform TiO2 nanotube arrays were first grown by the conventional electrochemical anodization of the Ti metal sheet followed by mechanical milling of the asfabricated TiO2 nanotube arrays. The obtained nanotubes with a length around 400 nm and opening diameter 100 nm were formed mixed with the spherical TiO2 single crystals with a diameter around 10 nm indicating hierarchical nanostructure.
