The possibility of a scalar messenger that can couple the Standard Model (SM) to a hidden sector has been discussed in a variety of contexts in the literature in recent years. We consider the case that a new scalar singlet charged under an exotic spontaneously broken Abelian gauge symmetry mixes weakly with the SM Higgs resulting in two scalar mass states, one of which has heavily suppressed couplings to the SM particles. Previous phenomenological studies have focussed on potential signatures…

We study the Higgs portal from the Standard-Model to a hidden sector and examine which elements of the extended theory can be discovered and explored at the LHC. Our model includes two Higgs bosons
The physics of heavy Z' gauge bosons
The $\mathrm{U}{(1)}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ symmetry associated with a possible heavy ${Z}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ would have profound implications for particle physics and cosmology. The motivations for such

Resonance formation in WW scattering at a linear e+e− collider with a center of mass energy of 3 TeV is studied. The detector response of the events is simulated and hadronic machine background from
Physics Signatures at CLIC
A set of signatures for physics processes of potential interests for the CLIC programme at 1 - 5 TeV are discussed. These signatures, that may correspond to the manifestation of different scenarios
