Extreme and very-near-extreme spin $J$ Kerr black holes have been conjectured to be holographically dual to two-dimensional (2D) conformal field theories (CFTs) with left and right central charges ${c}_{L}={c}_{R}=12J$. In this paper it is observed that the 2D conformal symmetry of the scalar wave equation at low frequencies persists for generic nonextreme values of the mass $M\ensuremath{\ne}\sqrt{J}$. Interestingly, this conformal symmetry is not derived from a conformal symmetry of the… Expand
Hidden conformal symmetry of the Kerr-Newman black hole
We investigate the hidden conformal symmetry of the 4-dimensional non-extremal Kerr-Newman (KN) black hole with the idea of the near-region Kerr/CFT correspondence proposed by Castro, Maloney andExpand
Hidden conformal symmetry of the rotating charged AdS black holes in quadratic f(T) gravity
The nonextremal Kerr black holes have been considered to be holographically dual to two-dimensional (2D) conformal field theories (CFTs). In this paper, we extend the holography to the case of anExpand
Hidden conformal symmetry of extreme and non-extreme Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton-axion black holes
The hidden conformal symmetry of extreme and non-extreme Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton-Axion (EMDA) black holes is addressed in this paper. For the non-extreme one, employing the wave equation of masslessExpand
Real-time correlators and hidden conformal symmetry in the Kerr/CFT correspondence
In this paper, we study the real-time correlators in Kerr/CFT, in the low frequency limit of generic non-extremal Kerr(-Newman) black holes. From the low frequency scattering off Kerr-Newman blackExpand
On holographic description of the Kerr-Newman-AdS-dS black holes
In this paper, we study the holographic description of the generic four-dimensional non-extremal Kerr-Newman-AdS-dS black holes. We find that if focusing on the near-horizon region, for the masslessExpand
Hidden conformal symmetries of five-dimensional black holes
Recently it was shown by Castro, Maloney and Strominger (CMS) that 4D Kerr black holes have a “hidden” conformal symmetry. Using some old results of Cvetic and Larsen, I show that this result is veryExpand
Deformed hidden conformal symmetry for rotating black holes
The generic non-extremal Kerr–Newman black holes are holographically dual to hidden conformal field theories in two different pictures. The two pictures can be merged together to the dual conformalExpand

Hidden and generalized conformal symmetry of Kerr–Sen spacetimes
It is recently conjectured that generic non-extremal Kerr black hole could be holographically dual to a hidden conformal field theory (CFT) in two dimensions. Moreover, it is known that there are twoExpand

Kerr/CFT Correspondence

The Kerr/CFT Correspondence and String Theory
