We generalize the notion of hidden conformal symmetry in Kerr/CFT to Kerr(A)dS black holes in arbitrary dimensions. We build the SL(2, R) generators directly from the Killing tower, whose Killing tensors and Killing vectors enforce the separability of the equations of motion. Our construction amounts to an explicit relationship between hidden conformal symmetries and Killing tensors: we use the Killing tower to build a novel tensor equation connecting the SL(2, R) Casimir with the radial Klein…

Hidden Conformal Symmetry in Higher Derivative Dynamics
The Kerr/CFT correspondence provides a holographic description of spinning black holes that exist in our universe, and the notion of hidden conformal symmetry allows for a formulation of this

Deformed conformal symmetry of Kerr–Newman-NUT-AdS black holes
We find generators of the conformal symmetry for the class of Kerr-Newman-NUT-AdS black holes from the deformed scalar probe equation. We find two classes of solutions for the generators (also known
Extremal Black Hole/CFT Correspondence in (Guaged) Supergravities
We extend the investigation of the recently proposed Kerr/conformal field theory correspondence to large classes of rotating black hole solutions in gauged and ungauged supergravities. The
Conformal structure of the Schwarzschild black hole
We show that the scalar wave equation at low frequencies in the Schwarzschild geometry enjoys a hidden SL(2,R) invariance, which is not inherited from an underlying symmetry of the spacetime itself.
Black holes, hidden symmetries, and complete integrability
It is demonstrated that the principal tensor can be used as a “seed object” which generates all these symmetries of higher-dimensional Kerr–NUT–(A)dS black hole spacetimes and the review contains a discussion of different applications of the developed formalism and its possible generalizations.

We present a first-principles derivation of the main results of the Kerr/CFT correspondence and its extensions using only tools from gravity and quantum field theory, filling a few gaps in the
CFT Duals for Extreme Black Holes
It is argued that the general four-dimensional extremal Kerr-Newman-AdS-dS black hole is holographically dual to a (chiral half of a) two-dimensional CFT, generalizing an argument given recently for
Extremal Static AdS Black Hole/CFT Correspondence in Gauged Supergravities
Abstract A recently proposed holographic duality allows the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy of extremal rotating black holes to be calculated microscopically, by applying the Cardy formula to the
Hidden conformal symmetries of five-dimensional black holes
Recently it was shown by Castro, Maloney and Strominger (CMS) that 4D Kerr black holes have a “hidden” conformal symmetry. Using some old results of Cvetic and Larsen, I show that this result is very
Kerr/cft Correspondence in Diverse Dimensions
It was proposed recently that the near-horizon states of an extremal four-dimensional Kerr black hole could be identified with a certain chiral conformal field theory whose Virasoro algebra arises as
Complete set of commuting symmetry operators for the Klein-Gordon equation in generalized higher-dimensional Kerr-NUT-(A)dS spacetimes
We consider the Klein-Gordon equation in generalized higher-dimensional Kerr-NUT-(A)dS spacetime without imposing any restrictions on the functional parameters characterizing the metric. We establish
