We consider non-Abelian BPS-saturated flux tubes (strings) in N=2 supersymmetric QCD deformed by superpotential terms of a special type breaking N=2 supersymmetry down to N=1. Previously it was believed that worldsheet supersymmetry is "accidentally" enhanced due to the facts that N =(1,1) SUSY is automatically elevated up to N=(2,2) on CP(N-1) and, at the same time, there are no N=(0,2) generalizations of the bosonic CP(N-1) model. Edalati and Tong noted that the target space is in fact CP(N-1…

### Description of the Heterotic String Solutions in U(N) SQCD

• Physics

We continue the study of heterotic non-Abelian BPS-saturated flux tubes (strings). Previously, such solutions were obtained [1] in a particular U(2) gauge theory: N=2 supersymmetric QCD deformed by

### Heterotic N=(0,2) CP(N-1) model with twisted masses

• Physics

We present a two-dimensional heterotic N=(0,2) CP(N-1) model with twisted masses. It is supposed to describe internal dynamics of non-Abelian strings in massive N=2 SQCD with N=1-preserving

### Non-Abelian strings in N=1 supersymmetric QCD

• Physics

Non-Abelian flux tubes (strings) are well studied in N=2 supersymmetric QCD in (3+1) dimensions. In addition to translational zero modes they have also orientational moduli associated with rotations

We consider N=2 supersymmetric QCD with the U(N) gauge group (with no Fayet-Iliopoulos term) and N{sub f} flavors of massive quarks deformed by the mass term {mu} for the adjoint matter, W={mu}A{sup

### Non-Abelian Duality and Confinement: from N=2 to N=1 Supersymmetric QCD

• Physics
• 2011
Recently, we discovered and discussed non-Abelian duality in the quark vacua of N=2 super-Yang-Mills theory with the U(N) gauge group and N{sub f} flavors (N{sub f}>N). Both theories from the dual

### Making Supersymmetric Quivers from N =(0,2) Sigma Models

• Physics, Mathematics

We show how to construct quiver-like (0,2) sigma models starting from n copies of (2,2) CP(N-1) models (or similar more generic models). These "quivers" present a natural generalization of the

We continue the study of heterotic non-Abelian Bogomolny-Prasad-Sommerfield (BPS) saturated flux tubes (strings). Previously, such solutions were obtained in U(N) gauge theories: N=2 supersymmetric

### Large-N Solution of the Heterotic N=(0,2) Two-Dimensional CP(N-1) Model

• Physics

We continue explorations of non-Abelian strings, focusing on the solution of a heterotic deformation of the $CP(N\ensuremath{-}1)$ model with an extra right-handed fermion field and

In this paper we continue the study of perturbative renormalizations in an $\mathcal{N}=(0,2)$ supersymmetric model. Previously we analyzed one-loop graphs in the heterotically deformed CP$(N-1)$

### The quantum dynamics of heterotic vortex strings
