Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set provides an effective tool to represent uncertain decision information. However, the semantics corresponding to the linguistic terms in it cannot accurately reflect the decision-makers’ subjective cognition. In general, different decision-makers’ sensitivities towards the semantics are different. Such sensitivities can be represented by the cumulative prospect theory value function. Inspired by this, we propose a linguistic scale function to transform the…

Multi-attribute decision-making method based on a novel distance measure of linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy sets
TLDR
A method in linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy environment is developed to handle multi-attribute decision-making problems and a new similarity measure defined by nonlinear Gaussian diffusion model is proposed, which can provide different response scales for different information between various schemes.
Application of the Fuzzy CODAS Method Based on Fuzzy Envelopes for Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Term Sets: A Case Study on a Personnel Selection Problem
TLDR

An enhanced even swaps method based on prospect theory with hesitant fuzzy linguistic information and its application to the selection of emergency logistics plans under the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak
Abstract The even swaps method considering the trade-offs between criteria is an effective multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) method; nevertheless, when implementing it, decision makers are
Programming model-based method for ranking objects from group decision making with interval-valued hesitant fuzzy preference relations

A novel determination of the decision weights of experts is given combining the subjective and objective weights, and a self-confidence score function is designed to get the best solution for environmental pollution emergency management.
Integer Programming Modeling on Group Decision Making With Incomplete Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Preference Relations
TLDR
An integer programming model is developed based on additive consistency to estimate missing values of incomplete HFLPRs by using additive consistency and a new GDM approach for incomplete H FLPRs is proposed by integrating theinteger programming model and the mixed 0–1 programming model.
The New Similarity Measure and Distance Measure of a Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Term Set Based on a Linguistic Scale Function
TLDR
A new similarity measure combining the existing cosine similarity measure and the Euclidean distance measure of HFLTSs is proposed, which is constructed based on a linguistic scale function; according to the relationship between the distance measure andThe similarity measure, a corresponding distance measure between HFLtss is obtained.
