The aim of the study is to investigate the ethanol extract of Mentha arvensis leaves were screened for its hepatoprotective and antioxidant activities in CCl4 (1 ml/kg bw) induced hepatic damage in rats. The extracts at doses of 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg bw were administered orally once daily for five days.
