Hepatoprotective activity of 3-bromo-6-(4-chlorophenyl)-4-methylthio-2H-pyran-2-one, an isostere of dimethyl ricinine, was evaluated in adult male albino rats intoxicated with carbon tetrachloride, paracetamol or thioacetamide.
