Labeled monomeric and polymeric (pIgA) mouse monoclonal IgA were injected intravenously into mice which were either sequentially bled for plasma turnover studies of IgA, or cannulated at their common bile duct, with excluded gallbladder, for quantitation of plasma-to-bile transport of pIgA.
