The aim of the present study was to investigate the protective role of phloretin on liver and kidney of streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats. Phloretin was used at the dose of 25 mg and 50 mg/kg b.w on STZ-induced diabetic rats to analyse the blood glucose, serum insulin, total protein, liver function enzymes and kidney function markers.
