Hepatitis A virus genotype IA-infected patient with marked elevation of aspartate aminotransferase levels.

Abstract

We describe a case of acute liver failure (ALF) without hepatic encephalopathy with marked elevation of aminotransferase due to hepatitis A, according to the revised Japanese criteria of ALF.
