Hepatic cirrhosis caused by low-dose oral amiodarone therapy.


A 63-year-old man presented with ascites after therapy with amiodarone, 200 mg orally once per day for 22.5 months. A liver biopsy showed grade 3 chronic hepatitis and micronodular cirrhosis.
