The project aim is to build a smart, little power bicycle dashboard with advanced vision sensor to find whether the rider is wearing a helmet or not and allows start/stop the bike ignition system. Even while riding the bicycle, the system continues the monitoring process, prevents the fire and sends alert messages to traffic authorities if the helmet not worn at any point in time. An alcohol sensor is built-in within the dashboard to prevent the drunk driving situation. GPS and motion sensors… Expand
Smart Helmet 5.0 for Industrial Internet of Things Using Artificial Intelligence
A smart helmet prototype that monitors the conditions in the workers’ environment and performs a near real-time evaluation of risks and the use of a Deep Convolutional Neural Network (ConvNet/CNN) is proposed for the detection of possible occupational risks. Expand
Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Electrical Machines Using Multi-Label Classification
This work proposes a novel methodology for multi-label classification for simultaneously diagnosing multiple faults and evaluating the fault severity under noisy conditions and the applicability of this method is experimentally validated under diverse fault conditions such as unbalance and misalignment. Expand
Multi-label Classification for Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Electrical Machines
This work proposes a novel methodology using multi-label classification method for simultaneously diagnosing multiple faults and evaluating the fault severity under noisy conditions and is experimentally validated under diverse fault conditions such as unbalance and misalignment. Expand

Context-aware saliency detection
A new type of saliency is proposed – context-aware saliency – which aims at detecting the image regions that represent the scene and a detection algorithm is presented which is based on four principles observed in the psychological literature. Expand
Visual search in scenes involves selective and nonselective pathways
This article argues that the mechanisms that govern artificial, laboratory search tasks do play a role in visual search in scenes, however, scene-based information is used to guide search in ways that had no place in earlier models. Expand
A Model of Saliency-Based Visual Attention for Rapid Scene Analysis
A visual attention system, inspired by the behavior and the neuronal architecture of the early primate visual system, is presented, which breaks down the complex problem of scene understanding by rapidly selecting conspicuous locations to be analyzed in detail. Expand
