Radar micro-Doppler of human motion can provide signatures for target recognition. It is very difficult to extract motion parameters from radar echo of walking human because of its complexity. This paper presents a method for estimating the relative velocity and height of human walking. The relative velocity is defined as the average walking velocity normalized by the height of the human.
