In the heavy quark and large N{sub c} limits, ordinary (exotic) heavy baryons can be considered as bound states of heavy mesons (antimesons) and chiral solitons. In these limits, the heavy mesons (or antimesons) and the chiral solitons are extremely heavy and are presumed to fall to the bottom of the effective potential. Previous studies have approximated the effective potential as harmonic about the minimum. However, when realistic masses for the heavy meson and chiral soliton are considered…

Study of bottom and charmed baryons in quark-diquark model

In this work, we study the properties of charm- and bottom-flavored baryons in the approximative quark-diquark modelin which the structure of baryons is considered as the bound states of

Study of the Generalized Isotonic Oscillators Interaction in Semileptonic Decays of Bottom Mesons and Baryons

We have used mesonic and baryonic wave functions in the presence of the modified quantum isotonic oscillator interaction to compute the parameters of the Isgur–Wise function. Thereby we have

Semileptonic Decays of $${\Xi_{b}}$$Ξb and $${\Sigma_{b}}$$Σb Baryons via the Three-Body Variational Approach

We consider a nonrelativistic three-body system with a Cornell interaction in hyperspherical formalism. In order to obtain the solution of the system, we use the improved variational method. Next, we
