Current studies on heavy hadrons in nuclear medium are reviewed with a summary of the basic theoretical concepts of QCD, namely chiral symmetry, heavy quark spin symmetry, and the effective Lagrangian approach. The nuclear matter is an interesting place to study the properties of heavy hadrons from many different points of view. We emphasize the importance of the following topics: (i) charm/bottom hadron-nucleon interaction, (ii) structure of charm/bottom nuclei, and (iii) QCD vacuum properties… Expand
Fate of the charm baryon Λc in cold and hot nuclear matter
We discuss the properties of the $\Lambda_{c}$ baryon in nuclear matter at zero or finite temperature. Starting from the Lagrangian based on the heavy quark effective theory, we derive the effectiveExpand
Charmed baryons in nuclear matter
We study the temperature and baryon density dependence of the masses of the lightest charmed baryons $\Lambda_c$, $\Sigma_c$ and $\Sigma^*_c$. We also look at the effects of the temperature andExpand
Scattering of charmed baryons on nucleons
Abstract.Chiral effective field theory is utilized for extrapolating results on the $\Lambda_{c} N$ΛcN interaction, obtained in lattice QCD at unphysical (large) quark masses, to the physical point.Expand
Charmed baryon–nucleon interaction

Hidden-charm and bottom meson-baryon molecules coupled with five-quark states
In this paper, we investigate the hidden-charm pentaquarks as $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}\Lambda_{\rm c}$ and $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}\Sigma^{(\ast)}_{\rm c}$ molecules coupled to the five-quark states. Furthermore,Expand
Open bottom mesons in asymmetric nuclear matter in the presence of strong magnetic fields
The modifications of the masses of the $B$ and $\bar B$ mesons in asymmetric nuclear matter in the presence of strong magnetic fields, are investigated using a chiral effective model. The mediumExpand
Heavy Hadronic Molecules Coupled with Multiquark States
We investigate the hidden-charm pentaquarks as a $$\varLambda _c{\bar{D}}^{(*)}-\varSigma _c^{(*)}{\bar{D}}^{(*)}$$ hadronic molecule coupling to a compact five-quark state. The coupling to theExpand
Charmonium states in strong magnetic fields
The medium modifications of the masses of the charmonium states (J/$\psi$, $\psi$(3686) and $\psi$(3770)) in asymmetric nuclear matter in the presence of strong magnetic fields are studied using anExpand
In-medium properties of the low-lying strange, charm, and bottom baryons in the quark-meson coupling model
In-medium properties of the low-lying strange, charm, and bottom baryons in symmetric nuclear matter are studied in the quark-meson coupling (QMC) model. Results for the Lorentz-scalar effectiveExpand

Mass modification of D-meson in hot hadronic matter
We evaluate the in-medium $D$ and $\bar D$-meson masses in hot hadronic matter induced by interactions with the light hadron sector described in a chiral SU(3) model. The effective LagrangianExpand

Heavy-quark dynamics for charm and bottom flavor on the Fermi surface at zero temperature
We discuss the dynamics in finite density medium including a heavy impurity particle (hadron or quark) with a heavy flavor, charm and bottom, at zero temperature. As a system, we consider a $\bar{D}$Expand
Heavy meson effective thoery with 1/M_Q correction
We construct an effective Lagrangian of heavy and light mesons with $1/M_Q$ correction. The Lagrangian is constructed model independent way by using only the information of the symmetry of QCD.Expand
