Results of studies of the heat capacities of poly(vinyl chloride)-based composites that contain copper nanoparticles as a filler and are prepared via electrical explosion of wire are described. In the temperature range T = 303–468 K at copper concentrations of φ = 0–0.10 vol %, the temperature and concentration dependences of the heat capacities of the composites undergo nonlinear variations.
