[Heart-lung transplantation in children].

Heart-lung transplantation is usually performed in children for heart disease (congenital cardiopathies with left-right shunt); pulmonary or cardio-pulmonary lesions are less frequent indications. Factors that limit that type of surgery are the small number of suitable donors, the need for a favourable social and familial environment and certain ethical problems.
